How To Buy

2nd Chance sells all types of quality home furnishings and accessories. Chinese, Western and Modern styles can all be found in the ever changing showrooms of 2nd Chance.

Methods of Purchase

  4. Visit our 8,000+ sq.ft. warehouse and personally select your item(s) 


Delivery

  • Provide full delivery details and advise if any delivery difficulties such as lift / door access, parking etc.
  • Schedule a delivery date (Mon, Tue, Thurs, Fri and Sat, 11:30am to 5:30pm, except all Public Holidays)
  • 2nd Chance provides FREE Delivery & Installation for any purchase totaling HK$ 2,000 or more. Please note this service does NOT apply to outlying islands such as Lamma and any closed road permit areas, in these cases delivery will be provided to ferry piers or closest point of permitted delivery.
  • Provided your building has lift access and the items fit into the lift we will help you place your new items where you want them. If items need to be moved via stairs or via rope the following charges will be applied. Please note these monies are payable directly to our delivery team as they will be the men moving the items:
  • Via stairs:  we will charge HK$50 per dismantled piece, per floor 
  • Via rope:   we will charge HK$100 per dismantled piece, per floor (at our staff’s discretion)
  •   All items will be wrapped prior to delivery using protective blankets, cardboard and wrapping plastic. 
  • During your delivery our team will open / assemble / place your new items where requested and remove any packing materials for reuse or recycling.
  • If you require for our staff to assist with hanging mirror’s or paintings that have been purchased from 2nd Chance please advise our office prior to delivery so the required tools can be prepared.
  • If for any reason an item cannot be delivered successfully a transport charge of HK$300 - 500 will be levied.
  • Unless otherwise agreed, all items should have been delivered within 1 calendar month from the date of purchase.

 

** Please note that all items displayed on our website and in our warehouse are in the original conditions as collected. Once a sale has been agreed our restoration staff will check all items for structural integrity and touch up any scratches, marks etc to the best of their abilities. However, please remember the items are 2ND HAND and some minor wear and tear may be unavoidable so we advise our clients to view the items in person prior to purchase. **
